REFLECTION:
Overall I really think that this an influential diary filled with hope. Even though Anne went through some hard times living in the Secret Annex, and troubles with her mother she managed to persevere all the way through. This is a diary that has been edited by Anne’s father Otto who I think is extremely brave for publishing his daughters work. Having read the diary and understood the story through the eyes of a 13 year old girl I really connected more with the characters and enjoyed the story! On a scale from 1 to 10 I would rate this book an 11 out of 10! It is truly inspiring yet extremely depressing. It kept me on my toes! I would defiantly recommend this book to anyone and everyone because it a remarkable.
